Colgate Swim Camp



Sarah Biasello joined the Colgate coaching staff in August 2017.

“We are very excited to have Sarah join the staff,” said Waeger. “She has the energy, drive, passion and experience to make an immediate impact with our men and women both in and out of the swimming pool.”

A 2011 graduate of Michigan State, Biasello has made collegiate coaching stops at Oakland University, Oberlin College and the University of Detroit.

“I’m really grateful to Andy for this opportunity,” said Biasello. “I’m excited to be back on deck coaching and working with talented and determined student-athletes. I can’t wait to get started and am looking forward to a great year with the Raiders!”

Biasello served as the assistant coach at Oakland University in Rochester, Mich. for the 2015-16 season where she helped guide both the men and women to Horizon League titles.

She spent the 2014-15 season as an assistant at Oberlin College. Under Biasello’s tutelage, the Yeos turned out their highest finish at conference championships in school history and broke 13 team records.

Biasello served as the head boys swim coach at the University of Detroit Jesuit for the 2013-14 season where she coached the team to its highest-ever finish at conference championships and the most successful season in school history.

Biasello was a four-year letterwinner at Michigan State. The Spartan was a three-time finalist at the Big Ten Championship Meet during her career and served as a team captain.

The Austin, Texas native graduated from Michigan State in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology. She is married to Jay Sprague who coaches men’s ice hockey at Ryerson University in Canada.
